A game that’s played on many surfaces
Grass, concrete, clay
A thrilling and intense sport
The crowd screaming your name
Certainly is the best feeling when you play
The bounce of the ball
Hitting it is a bliss
Running across the court
But it’s a swing and a miss
When you play you learn
The swing must begin early
Before the ball is in sight
In order to get to it early
And hit it just right
