The Taylor Swift Eras Tour is causing fans, or Swifties, to go crazy. One of her concerts even caused a 2.3-magnitude earthquake. Fans in Canada have been asking for some tour dates in their country for the past 5 years. Taylor Swift just announced that she would be coming to Toronto, Canada in 2024 and will be performing there for 6 days.
It has just been a few days since Taylor Swift announced that she would be coming on tour to Canada’s Rogers Centre in November of next year. But, tickets are selling out fast. Many swifties are already worried that they may not be able to get the tickets.
Taylor Swift hasn’t been in Canada on a tour for 5 years. The last time she played there was in 2018 when she was on her reputation tour. Many swifties, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, begged Swift to reconsider when she originally did not plan for Canada to be a part of this epic tour.
“It's me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, don't make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon,” said Trudeau on Twitter, tagging Taylor Swift.
Archana, who is 11 and has been a fan for a very long time, told CBC Kids News that she was very excited when she first found out that Taylor Swift was coming to Canada. Even though she lives just outside of Toronto, she is still worried about getting tickets.
“I’m going to ask my mom to buy me one, but Taylor’s tickets sell out so quickly,” she said. “Or you can spend a lot of money just to end up at the very back. It just may not be feasible.”
Since Taylor Swift has a lot of fans in Canada, not everyone will be able to buy tickets. But, Archana is still glad that Taylor Swift is coming to Canada. She says this means a lot to her and many others who listen to Taylor Swift.
