A dog named Finley set the world record for being able to have the most tennis balls in his mouth.
Finley lives with his owner in Canandaigua, NY. Finley broke the record by being able to hold 6 tennis balls in his mouth at the same time. According to Erin Molloy, Finley's owner, “Finley would play fetch but never bring the ball back. He’d just wait for another to be thrown.” When Finley was two years old, he started carrying balls in his mouth, starting at 4 at a time. Then, in 2017, Finley was able to carry 6 balls in his mouth at the same time! But it takes a very long time to set an official record, so his owner had to fill out paperwork and other things. When it was official, Erin Molloy made Finley an instagram account and he has lots of followers and fans. Shortly before, it was Finley's birthday! How did they celebrate? Molloy made a party with the neighbors and also made Finley a big cake with lots of tennis ball designs. I think that training dogs to hold tennis balls in their mouths is really cool because they can get smarter and also maybe set a record too. Also it gives the dogs something hard to bite and chew on.
