It is essential for kids nowadays to know other people’s cultures and traditions because nowadays, kids will meet other kids from around the world on the internet and play video games with them. Especially with people getting irritated and offended all the time now, kids should know what is acceptable and what's not when it comes to their friends’ culture. Also, it just makes you respect the other person more. When you learn about other people that are unlike you, you can appreciate the diversity of traditions and cultures in the world. By using the internet you can search for many cultures in a short amount of time. In conclusion, as you learn, you can be more respectful and more understanding of others. You can truly improve yourself by learning.
