The First Presidential Debate

On September 29th, 2020, President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden, met at Cleveland Ohio to participate in the 1st debate of the presidential election. 

This debate covered six topics, with each topic lasting 15 minutes long with a total of 90 minutes for the whole debate. Chris Wallace, a Fox News anchor was the moderator. He was required to start each topic with a question, with each candidate responding in a time limit of 2 minutes. The candidates talked about their records, the Supreme Court, the economy, the unrest taking place in America, and the fairness of the election. However as the debate progressed, it became heated, with both speakers interrupting each other. 

There were two more debates taking place on October 15th and October 22nd. On top of this, there was also a single vice presidential debate, where Vice President Mike Pence and U.S. senator Kamala Harris met on October 7th.
