Taylor Swift, a huge pop and country songwriter, and singer, released a new Album “Midnights” on October 21, 2022. Even two months after the release date, many of her songs are on the billboard top 100 songs listened to right now .

This thirteen-song album reflects herself in each song; she spends hours writing these songs and puts in lots of work, showing effort pays off.

Many people know Taylor Swift from her famous song, “Shake it Off,” made when she was only twenty-four years old; now she is thirty-three. Swift signed her first publishing deal with Sony/ATV when she was only fourteen, which was the beginning of her career. Taylor Swift now has eleven Grammys and has won artist of the year seven times, breaking world records.

Once Taylor Swift released “Midnights”, she became the first ever artist to have all of her songs in the top ten songs in the US. "10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES,” tweeted Swift.

Her top five songs were “Anti-Hero”, “Lavender Haze”, “Maroon”, “Snow on the Beach”, and “Midnight rain”. Right now, Anti-Hero is ranked sixth on most listened to right now, with places one, two, three, and four being Holiday songs. Swift now has 40 songs that have been in the top 10 most listened-to songs. This album’s genre was pop. She is now subtly shifting from country to pop. This album is mostly similar to reputation which she released in 2017.

Along with her new album, she has added to the thirteen songs and called it “3 am tracks”. These seven songs are called "The Great War," "Bigger Than the Whole Sky," "Paris," "High Infidelity," "Glitch," "Would've, Could've, Should've," and "Dear Reader.” She added these to the “3 am tracks” because they helped her make the thirteen in the famous “Midnights” so they deserve to have some credit.
