President Joe Biden got a coronavirus vaccine on Monday, December 21, 2020. Before he got the vaccine he told the nurse that he was ready and afterward said, “We owe you big, we really do” to thank the nurse, he also said that he was looking forward to the second time he would get the shot. He also said that this was only the beginning.. Biden also announced that his wife Jill got a shot on Monday too. Vice president Mike Pence and his wife, Karen Pence, scheduled to get their shots on camera on Friday. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that the vaccine is how America beats coronavirus. Many political leaders are recording themselves getting the shot to gain the public's trust in the safety of the vaccine.
