From small, tiny ants, all the way up to tigers and cheetahs, young children usually seem fascinated looking at all these wonderful animals. But having pets, animals that will always be at your side offers children a close look at these wonderful animals and A unique chance to witness the power of their influence

Having a pet can benefit your social, physical, emotional, and environmental health. A pet can provide you with the company, play with you outside, make you feel happy, and even motivate you to be active and go outside to have some fresh air once in a while.

Having pets can reduce stress

Based on surveys from the World Health Association (WHO), 95% of pet parents rely on their pet for stress relief. People overwhelmingly (70%) say they would rather spend time with their pet than watch television (30%) to de-stress.

“Having a pet at home can help reduce people’s stress levels and provide a healthy distraction while they are cooped up indoors,” Dr. Ding, a medical doctor from Singapore, stated while being interviewed on Star Metro.

Beyond finding that pets relieve stress, studies have found that pets can reduce loneliness, increase feelings of social support, and boost your mood.

“Such short little lives our pets must spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting for us to come home each day. It is amazing how much love and laughter they bring into our lives and even how much closer we become with each other because of them.” John Grogan, an American Journalist said, talking about his dog.

“Pets keep you company when you’re lonely. It helps because when you have a friend around who always likes you no matter what – it’s harder to feel bad or down.” Aaron Carter, an American rapper talks about pets.

Pets are wonderful. They keep us company, play with us, and do so many more fun things. Ultimately, pets are unique animals that children like the most as BBC says, “rank pets as some of the most important beings in their lives”
