Four months after the NHL stopped training and games due to the pandemic, the NHL started reopening practice sessions for players in a lot of Canadian cities. Hockey games will be back and running as soon as August 1st. Stay tuned…

“The season was cut short in March when the coronavirus pandemic was spreading across North America,” says CBC KIDS NEWS. But the NHL Hockey League already has reopened their training sessions. Games will possibly be opened again in August. Some players, though, can’t return for their training sessions because they have chronic disease. They are too afraid to go back to playing on the ice because they might catch coronavirus. People can get very sick if they have coronavirus and other chronic diseases at the same time. Others have been tested positive for the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus and therefore cannot go back to play on the ice again.
