Have you been to Las Vegas? Recently, I went to Las Vegas, and I know now that it is a ton of fun. The magic show, fountain of music, and steakhouse in the Aria hotel make Las Vegas a very fun experience.
Since my mom and brother were in Los Angeles, we decided to take airplanes and meet up at Las Vegas when I was on break. On the first day, my dad and I went to a magic show. There were a lot of really bright lights that blinded my eyes, but the magic tricks totally made up for it. Some of the tricks even got me thinking how the magician did it, even later at my hotel! For example, when the magician started floating, some people put a ring around him to prove there weren't any supports. Back in the hotel, I came up with a theory that the ring actually had a small hole in it that would allow it to pass through the supports.
My mom and brother actually came a day later than my dad and I, because we had different plane schedules. The day my mom and my brother arrived, we went to a fountain next to another hotel. The fountain was very special, because everything was supposed to be synchronized with the beat of some music. However, something was wrong with the speakers, and there wasn’t any music. My mom said I wasn’t getting the full experience due to the lack of music. However, the next time, the speakers were fixed. I could see what my mom meant now. The fountain was way better with the music, and I was amazed that the performance was almost perfect. I even felt like dancing to the beat of the music! The music was also different every time, which made me think about how many hours people must’ve spent making perfect performances for every song!
The day before we left, we went to eat at the steakhouse in our hotel for dinner. My dad kept saying that the steakhouse was too expensive, but in the end, he was convinced. Even though the steakhouse was expensive, the good service and food made up for it. The waiters would change your plates between parts of the meal, such as the starter, main course, and dessert. The food was also really good. They had the most delicious bread with butter I’ve ever tasted, and I enjoyed it, but not more than my brother, who ate most of it. We ordered steak and lobsters as our main course and had mushrooms as a side. At the end, we had cheesecake for dessert.
Las Vegas was really fun and adventurous. I look forward to doing even more exciting things the next time we visit Las Vegas.
