Light in the Dark
By: Rhea Agrawal
Hatred tears everything apart.
It shan’t be tampered with and is not for the faint of heart.
Each word, a sharp knife
Causing its victims severe strife.
Even the most valiant of all
Have no choice but to succumb and fall.
But wherever there is hate, there is also hope,
Slowly pushing us along our slope.
Finally, the darkness is outweighed by light,
Helping the meekest of all to soar and take flight.
