Elon Musk Changes His Mind Of Buying Twitter

By: Derick Zhang

Elon Musk decided to pull out of the deal to buy Twitter, his reasoning was because Twitter failed to provide enough information on the number of spam and fake accounts. He thinks this because when asked for evidence that only 5 percent or less of its total users were spam or bot accounts, Twitter didn’t have an answer.

After that it sparked a war between Musk and Twitter, first Twitter said they would enforce legal action against Musk to force him into buying Twitter. In response Musk said he believes that at least 20 percent of Twitter users are bots. The market reaction was that Twitter stock share value fell by 7 percent. At this rate there will be a long war between Elon Musk and Twitter.

His position and how Twitter may moderate in the future is based on the laws of individual countries and times came across unsophisticated, or Musk is playing this game incredibly well and might just be able to pull the price line lower.
