Bliss of Laughter

By: Caroline Yao

Jolly old laughter,

I met yesterday,

And blessed I was,

With greetings of smile,

And the delight ,

Of a good,

Long talk.

The ducks in the pond,

The lilies right with them,

The spring clouds blooming,

And any more,

That left a mark of bliss.

And so then,

We said our goodbyes,

But with the smile,

still carved on my face,

For fortune bestowed us,

Not with gold, nor with riches,

But jolly old laughter,

With his joy,

And his spirit.
