A Tribute to Technoblade

On June 30, 2022, famous YoutTuber “Technoblade” died of stage four cancer.

Technoblade was a popular Minecraft Youtuber with 11 million subscribers as of June, 2022. He was gaining lots of attention in the Minecraft community and later on went to break a record in the Hypixel community of Minecraft. Hypixel is a minigame in Minecraft, and Technoblade was always number one. He later on got known to be through Mr.Beast’s videos, and played in them. Mr.Beast is one of the top YouTubers on the platform.

Technoblade became well known on YouTube and Minecraft after joining the Dream SMP, a server where prominent Minecraft YouTubers play. In August 2021, Technoblade revealed that his right arm started to swell, and he went to the doctor’s to find out he had cancer. He was not unable to upload videos for a long time.

Several months later, he died. He made one final video titled, “So long nerds.” In the video, his father explained how Technoblade died and how he wanted to be in the video, but was unable to because of his health. In his video he mentioned that Technoblade’s real name was Alex, not Dave. He explained that Technoblade pulled many pranks on viewers, who thought his name was Dave. He did not reveal Technoblade’s last name or any family names, to keep their privacy intact.

"If I had another hundred lives,” Technoblade wrote in a note his father read on camera, “I think I would choose to be Technoblade again every single time, as those were the happiest years of my life."

P.S I won’t be writing for 10 days because I’m going on vacation and I can’t bring my computer so after you read this you can delete it. I will miss a week of writing.
