I stare at the audience in shock.
I knew this day would come.
The day when I would have to walk up the stairs,
And into the public spotlight.
I try to walk forward,
But my legs are rooted in place.
The roots of fear are buried deep.
It gnaws at me, gives me doubts.
I walk away.
I lost my chance be do something great.
Now, I am nobody.
