Did you know that when you wake up, you are taller than when you sleep? If you want to measure your height, measure yourself at night. So you don’t feel like you got shorter at night. You get shorter at the end of the day because you run, jump, and walk, which makes your bones get tight together, so there’s no space between them. You get taller when you wake up. When you sleep, your body relaxes, and your bones relax, too. So there will be more space between each bone. You wake up taller than when you sleep because of that.
