A gunman killed 3 people and injured 4 at a shopping mall in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The victims were 2 Danish 17-year-olds and one 47-year-old Russian. Two Danes and two Swedes were injured. One is critical.
The police said that the suspected 22-year-old shooter had mental issues, but there is no indication of a terror motive. The shopping mall attack took place as Denmark was celebrating hosting the first three stages of the Tour de France for the first time.
Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was devastated. She wanted to encourage Danes to be there for each other and stand together in this difficult time. "Our beautiful and usually so safe capital was changed in a split second," she said.
