The Savior : You

When I was looking out the window,

… it was bright

… it was sunny

… the ground was twinkling like stars

… the squirrels were chittering in the trees

… it is a field I see

… it is a green forest

… it is a glittering ocean

… it is a red, yellow, orange canyon.

It was dark the next day.

It was raining.

Thunderheads passed overhead.

The wind howled.

I was alone.

I cried.

Until you came.

You took my hand.

You said, “It’s okay.

You’ll be fine”.

You set me on my feet again.
